- The battery module offers a level 5 insulation protection.
- Both the battery module and the sub control box are equipped with 1500 V fuses, providing passive protection.
- The bulkhead has a fire resistance rating of 2 hours, effectively preventing thermal runaway.
- The Tener C2-L600 system adopts multiple levels of fire safety protection, including alarms, explosion-proof features, explosion venting (optional), and water-based fire suppression.
- The Tener C2-L600 system adopts multiple designs to enhance electrical safety, including Emergency Stop (E-Stop) design, multiple fuse protection, insulation and voltage monitoring, multi-channel isolation, and lightning
protection.
- As the first product in the TENER series, the Tener C2-L600 system offers a high energy density of 6 MWh (20-foot container). In a 200 MWh project, using the Tener C2-L600 system can result in an 8% reduction in the overall floor area, lowering EPC costs and creating more benefits.
- The cell packing features a modular design that significantly enhances energy density in a specified area. This highly integrated system achieves an area energy density exceeding 407 kWh/m².
Basic Parameters
- As the first stacked product in the TENER series, the Tener H2 system integrates both LFP 530Ah and 565Ah cells which offers a high energy of 8.46 MWh and 9.025 MWh, respectively. In a 200 MWh project, using the Tener H2 system can result in an 25% reduction in the overall floor area compared with 6MWh 20-feet container, lowering EPC costs and creating more benefits.
- Flexible transportation: The Tener H2 container is designed with 20-feet projection size, the length and width are the same as standard 20-feet container. This size design meet the standards of shipping industry. The weight of single half-height container is less than 36t. Thus, the transportation of container can be accepted by all infrastructure around the world, making the transportation very flexible.
- Low noise: The noise level of the cooling unit can be reduced to 65 dBA, which slashes the investment in soundproofing equipment for the entire station. The top-mounted cooling unit design resolves the heat island issue for the entire station.
- Low auxiliary power consumption: Equipped with a high-efficiency liquid cooling unit, the auxiliary power consumption under standard operating conditions is less than 3.6% (25℃, 1cycle/day).
- Strong environmental adaptability: The container features the IP rating of IP55, and the battery module features IP rating of IP67. The corrosion class of the Tener H2 system is C5-VH, and its seismic rating is the IEEE693 seismic high level.
- The Tener H2 system utilizes highly stable lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) for cell safety. LFP is widely recognized as a safe material, particularly suitable for the BESS.
- The battery module offers a level 5 insulation protection.
- Both the battery module and the sub control box are equipped with 1500 V fuses, providing passive protection.
- The bulkhead has a fire resistance rating of 2 hours, effectively preventing thermal runaway.
- The Tener H2 system adopts multiple levels of fire safety protection, including alarms, explosion-proof features, explosion venting (optional), and water-based fire suppression.
- The Tener H2 system adopts multiple designs to enhance electrical safety, including Emergency Stop (E-Stop) design, multiple fuse protection, insulation and voltage monitoring, multi-channel isolation, and lightning protection.
- Independent UPS design enables one UPS to support the FSS monitoring system with a 24-hour capacity, while the other draws power from the battery rack to provide standby power for approximately 9.5 hours, which significantly improves system reliability.

Energy Storage Management System by Energynie™
The primary goal of Contel Smart Energy’s Energy Storage Management System (ESMS) is to ensure seamless coordination among various components of the storage system. The ESMS orchestrates and synchronizes the CATL Battery Management System (BMS), the Power Conversion System (PCS), the power meter system, and third-party Plant Power Controller (PPC). It also handles user interfacing, logging, and user management for the entire energy storage system.
Furthermore, the ESMS enables local operation of the energy storage system and supports remote third-party operation, allowing external SCADA or EMS software to control the storage system.
