Electrical and Control Engineer

Job Description:

• Responsibility for the communication and control systems in the company, reporting to the Engineering Director.
• Understanding of all parts of the system, in-depth learning, specification, and writing full system descriptions.

Job Requirements:

• Electrical and control engineer with at least 3 years of experience.
• Primary electrical license at least.
• Experience in writing and/or specifying full system descriptions (Functional Design Specification).
• Familiarity and experience with renewable energy systems.
• Orientation in control and automation in the industry.
• Familiarity with power electronics, AC/DC converters, and DC/DC converters.
• Familiarity with automation communication protocols such as Profibus and Modbus.
• Knowledge in reading electrical schematics.
• Experience working with subcontractors in the control field in Israel and abroad.
• Familiarity with various PLC controllers, including Allen Bradley’s Micrologic – an advantage.
• Knowledge of control diagrams. Experience in programming controllers (Ladder, FBD, PLC) – an advantage.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems, Siemens – an advantage.
• High ability for independent learning, analysis, and providing engineering solutions.
• Engineering support for the department’s technicians.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate people.
• Excellent reading, speaking, and writing in English – mandatory.
